Edit-They called the police and said I threatened them in a review a week after I posted the following review:

Nice place for kids and families. Play area and beach for swimming. Only downside was water pressure. It was okay but not great. Owners super helpful and accommodating.

Loved this place. You can tell that the new owners have put a lot of love and care into it over the past 5 years or so. It takes a lot to fix things up when it's just you and your family putting the hard work in. For me, it was just the right size. You don't have to walk forever to get where you want to be, but you are not completely stacked one on top of the other either. There is a trailer park you have to drive through to get to it, but that is simply out of their control. My kids love playing on the beach and I loved the quiet. I would definitely come back!! Friendly owners with great service.

This is an idyllic spot for those seeking to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy some peace and quiet in a lovely natural setting off the beaten path, while still situated close to the highway (which you thankfully cannot hear).

I’m looking for a place to take my young children camping for an evening before the season becomes too cold. I won’t bother with this location. I got as far as reading these reviews and that is all I need. I give one star, not because of the reviews I have seen, but because of the responses to said reviews from this owner. How can you proudly treat customers rudely on their reviews? Do you not realize that right there validates their review? Any establishment that can act this trashy should not be an establishment at all. It’s customer service. Take some lessons! Very disappointed as this seemed like a place we may have attended. It’s too bad. And please, harass me on my review. I can make some calls to my connections and this place would be gonzo! Good luck!

We're definitely returning next season!

I haven't been here since 2011, and the campground is much improved. The owners are very helpful and accommodating. I can tell they've put a lot into the place since taking over.

Nice park on a small lake. Well maintained but a little pricey. Extra $5 per day charge for using your own heat or A/C! The showers are rustic but ok. You must pay to use them as well. We were here in late September and it was unusually warm during the day. But at night it dropped down into the high 40s to low 50s. You can swim in the lake and it looks like a fun and popular spot in the summer.
